Math had been my favorite subject throughout elementary and middle school. I was fond of the subject because I was good at it and didn't have a difficult time understanding the topics that we were being taught. However, when I got to 9th grade, I realized that maybe I didn't like math as much as I thought I did. I struggled in math often during the first semester of my 9th grade school year. I came to an understanding that geometry is not one of my strong suits in math. I struggled, but I pushed through and put in a lot of effort until my grades started to improve. Towards the end of the school year, I showed growth by getting much better grades in my assignments and assessments. When I started to understand the topics that we were learning more clearly, I was happy to see that my hard work paid off. In the future when there areI am being taught concepts I don't understand being taught in class, I will continue to work hard outside of class until I fully understand. In my 9th grade year, I have realized that math won't always come so easyas easily to me likeas it has in the past years but I am willing to put in the work to become a stronger math student. Hopefully one day I will start to like math as much as I did before! Below I will be attachingattach below some of the math work that I am proud of.
