Burke uses primary-source documents to provide more evidence to convince readers to agree with his claims. By using documentsreputable sources, his claims have evidence to support them, making his argument more convincing. If Burke had simply summarized what they say, it would not be as credible, and in turn, would make his argument less persuasive.

Mark Twain’s witticism, “I have never let my schooling interfere with my education,” is an influential statement that exemplifieshighlights the difference between school and education. In this quote, MarkTwain alludes to how education is the larger, more important, topic, and he is correct. School isSome schools something that some are better than others at, based on the system of whichthe school and teachers teachits teachers' approach. Everyone learns differently, and schoolschools can’t always cater to each person. Generally, students have to discover what works best for them, either on their own or with the help of others. Education is the enlightening experience of gaining knowledge and putting it to use, and it doesn't end after school. What I believe Twain is trying to state is that school can often have a negative impact on education because of how it caters to a select few and doesn't offer a true chance of free exploration like education does. Twain doesn't want students to feel discouraged or “dumb” because of their school experienceexperiences, and he doesn't want them to stop their education because of it. This applies to Burke’s trials and tribulations as well. He didn’t fit into the mold school catered tooto, and thus felt lost and out of place. After high school, he finally realized that oftentimes education is different from school, and that the former is also more important.
