Colton Powell was admitted to Texas Children Pediatrics on June 8, 2016, due to a near drowning incident. Colton was seen by Dr. Ayse Arikan in the intensive care unit- West Tower of the hospital. He was treated for acute respiratory failure requiring re-intubation and near drowning. Colton was not prescribed any medication in the hospital or after discharge. He was given a follow up appointment for June 11, 2016 for an X-Ray/Fluoroscopy in the Imaging Department in the west tower of the hospital. On his discharge date, June 10th he was weighed at 38lbs, 5.8oz's. Colton was discharged from the hospital with his mother and father and given a regular diet as tolerated to follow.
