The main contribution of this work is the utility of the Hamming codes, inside the WSNs, for reducing the power consumption in Rayleiegh channels. In this paper, we derive an upper bound on bit error rate (BER) of Hamming codes. Our work has not been published previously with this approach. We analytically show that the selection probability of each code can be preceded by an adaptive scheme. Note that in addition to WSNs, our method is applicable to other wireless networks that have similar system models and aim to reduce the power consumed.
The rest of the paper is organized as follows
.: In Sec. \ref{sec:4}, the proposed solution of the WSN through Hamming codes has been described in detail. In addition, results are presented with discussions in Sec. \ref{sec:5}, and finally, Sec. \ref{sec:6} concludes the work.
