From Paul and Timothy, who serve Jesus the Saviour,
To all the Christians in Philippi and their leaders,
We send you grace and peace from God our Father and his Son Jesus, our Saviour.

I thank my God every time I think of you. Whenever I pray for you all, I do it full of happiness because you have been working with me for Jesus right from the start, and because you are confident that Jesus will carry on what he started and will keep helping and transforming you until the day He comes back.

It's only natural that I should feel this happiness, because I have you in my heart and mind, and because I know that God is loving and caring towards both you and me, whether I'm in prison or out telling people about Jesus. God knows how I miss you and how I love you like Jesus does.

And I pray that your love may grow and grow as you learn and understand more, so that then you can be better judges of what is right, and so that when Jesus comes back you are perfect and full of the good qualities that come as a result of knowing Him and having Him change you, so that ultimately God receives all the credit and adoration.
