’Another very recent study suggests that Clopidogrel inhibits the angiogenesis of gastric ulcer healing, at least partially by the inhibition of the VEGF (Vascular endothelial growth factor),VEGFR2(Vascular endothelial growth factor receptors) and ERK (extracellular signal–regulated kinases) signal transduction pathway with in the ulcer margin.


Objective:

tThe present resrearch aimes to formulate and characterize transmucosal buccal films of Clopidogril Bisulphate to prevent the hepatic first pass metabolism, reducing the gastrointestinal irritation and Pprolongs the residence time of the dosage form at the site of absorption, hence increases the bioavailability.i In this resrearch clopidogril bisulphate buccal films will be evaluated in terms of absorption, distribution, and bioavailability.
