I was selected as one of fifty students from Hhistorically Bblack colleges &and universities across the US to participate in Thurgood Marshall College Fund's (TMCF) #intheblack campaign on cCapitol hHill. During our hill day, my collegeagues and I, advocated student loan issues and the repayment options with the Senators and their staff. In our effort, we stressed the major issues students were facing from HBCUs and those who come from under-resourced backgrounds. We expressed to the mMembers of cCongress that we needed their support in bringing more awareness of these student loan repayment options and to help create better solutions.
