I was taking a final and a group of students behind me were acting obnoxious, and being that I have ADD it was distracting to me. I repeatedly told them to stop quietly and over time I got louder,. tThe teacher never did anything until I was at full voice telling them to stop. The result was me getting written up for distracting a class during a test. This was during my Sophomore year, but, fortunately, I did learn from this experience. I learned that people aren't always going to care about their success and could care less about yours. But, I also learned to take classes surrounding myself with people that had the same drive I did— I had always been scared to take honors or AP classes because of my ability to get distracted so easily, but I took a leap of faith that changed my life for the better.
