The United States remained neutral before they entereding the war, but they were still trading with and providing supplies tof the Allied pPowers. It states in "Historical Background" that “ “ The United States maintained neutrality in the conflict until 1917,” and “that “economic contributions to the Allied war effort helped to turn the course of the war”.”
