Suitability to use the designed technical environment is the goal of every designer. In the case of thea kitchen furniture system, the important feature of the products is their adaptation to the individual needs of the customers. Unfortunately, usually the visual form of furniture does not always go hand -in -hand with their functionality. However, bothe form and function of thare product must not always be antithetical to one another. The current and complete ergonomic information of a particular user enables you tohe design yourf a kitchen in an attractive form, without compromising its ergonomics during typical kitchen activities.
For this purpose, it is advisable to use modern methods and tools to capturead the ergonomic information directly from the user, preferably without limiting itsheir activity, as is the case with classical measurement methods. This facilitates the design of ergonomic products, especially for designers, who have to respond to atypical problems of people with special needs, such as physical disability. Based on these assumptions, in the methodology fofr collecting and processing ergonomic information in the application forf kitchen design for the physically disabled and, the physically disabled person was presented. The result is justified guidelines for individualized, ergonomic design of furniture.
