Ender’s Change

The challenges that one faces in their life, change onethem as a whole. In Orson Scott Card’s Ender’s Game, Ender is portrayed as onesomeone people would pickpicked on, andwho is bullied by his own brother. In his efforts to agitate Ender, Peter relentlessly intimidates and coerces his younger brother. Ender, being the nice person that he is, agrees to play buggers and astronauts with Peter, although during the game, Peter starts to hurt Ender, “‘Just"Just press and press until you’re dead”’(12)dead" (12). Peter’s constant abuse of Ender usually leaves Enderhim crying by himselfalone. However, Peter has taught him to control his emotions, whenboth at home and at battle school, while in pain and missing his family. Ender has struggled and faced many daily challenges involving Peter, but they are what forceforced him to become a stronger and tougher person.
