This was the first bouquet I had ever made. It was 5 1/2 years ago, on the day I married my husband. At the time, I wasn’t a florist and never thought about making a living doing so. We didn’t have a ton of money, but that’s the lovely thing about marriage,: you don’t need a lot to commit to the one you love. I picked up a few different rose varieties from the grocery story and spent a few moments arranging them. They weren’t extravagant, but they suited the day perfectly.
