You need to know a few basics of electricity and mathematics to form the entire system.
You need four basic components
to make:
1. Solar panel (PV panel)
2. Charging regulator
3. Converter
4. Battery
In addition to the above components
, you also need: copper wire, MC4 Connector, switches, ampere, volt and watwatt meter and fuses, etc.
To purchase the above components, you must calculate the load. Determine which devices (lights, radio, TV, fridge, etc.) will
haveneed power and for how long (hours) they will be active. For power ratings (wats)(watts), see the specifications table on the devices.
Calculate total Wh
Wh consumption for all devices.
AnFor example for, a 12V wiring for useusing 2 LEDs is 5 W per hour, taking an average operating time of 5 hours per day:
light = 10W x 5 hours = 50Wh
We must add 30% of the energy lost in the system.
Total consumption per day = 50 x 1.3 = 65 Wh
