After reading chapterChapter 1, about GranGrand Canyon University, I felt very prideful that I chose an awesome college to be a part of. I was very inspired by Brenda Combs, as she came from humble beginnings,. Brenda’s life changed when she opened her pure heart to God and asked him to help with her addiction, just like that, he did. Brenda had great accomplishments, such as being on the Today’s show,Today Show and XRadio. Also, it was amazing that she attended the presidential inaugurations forinauguration of Barack Obama. I feel like Brenda pushed an GOa "Go button" inside of me to finish the chapter. The Datadata annual average was an eye openereye-opener for me. She went from having no diploma to having a Doctoral Degree of wages. I feel communication and knowledge is the key to better yourself and no one can take that knowledge from you. Learning about time management will be a challenge for me, as it was put in chapterChapter 1, “challenge of being an adult student “, trying to balance the world is a challenge within itself.
