Waste is deposited by residents into a front end dumpster of 6six cubic yards.

The waste hauler company collects the waste on Mondays and Fridays.

Observations
• Electronics wherewere deposited by the residents inside the dumpster.
• Two sofas wherewere left next to the dumpster.
• The dumpster was approximately 90% full.

RECYCLING

Two containers of 96 gallons each are used to deposit the recycling.
The city collects the materials.
The Current “Single Stream” Recycling Diversion Program includes:
• Mixed Paper
• Plastics, glass, aluminum and steel cans
• Cardboard

Observations
• The containers are located next to the waste dumpster.
• Both containers wherewere empty.

REVIEW

Review the current waste contracts.

Audit waste hauler invoices to find extra costs and fees due to the presence of furniture and electronics.

Request the hauler information regarding the amount of waste collected each month.

Contact other waste hauler providers in the area to request a quote and perform a cost comparison.

Contact trash valet providers to request a quote.
• The trash valet service will collect all the trash and deposit it in the dumpster.
• Residents would not be able to deposit electronics and large household items in the dumpster or surrounding areas.

SERVICES

Prepare all necessary documentation to negotiate with all parties to remove overcharges.

Obtain refunds and/or credits for past overcharges.

Obtain future reduction in costs by correcting or modifying the scope of services

PAYMENT

Fifty percent (50%) of any savings is shared with the customer as follows:
• 50% of all overcharges secured as either refunds or credits.; and
• 50% of any reduction in waste management expenses or billings.

If no savings are obtained, Innova does not receive any payment from the customer.
