I leapleaped out of bed, tripping over my own feet as I got out. My feet landed on the cold, hard timber floor. It was wet... why was it wet? I stumbled up to my bedroom door, half asleep and confused. As I makemade my way down the stairwell, tripping and falling, I hearheard banging and screaming in the living room. I standstood in the living room entrance, half-naked, ready to fight off whoever iswas down here. My sleepy eyes scanscanned my surroundings, nothing out of the ordinary. Everything iswas normal, as should be..... wait, what is that sound?... *sksksksks*.... "Hello? Is anyone here?"..... *sksksksks*... I looklooked around the room, in search of the source of the noise. Hairs on my back standstanding up, my body is nowwas covered in goosebumps. Something isn'twasn't right here. fingersFingers brushed against my legs, slowly rising. It felt real, like a corpse touching me... *sksksksks*... I... I couldn't move, I couldn't scream. I was at this corpsecorpse's mercy, I was as helpless as a newborn. It was getting closer, it'sits touch was as cold as ice. It was trying to say something, but I couldn't understand it. The corpse was so close, I felt it'sits chilly breath run around my neck, setting me on edge. I wanted to cry out for help, but I couldn't, I was helpless. Bony hands closed around my neck, restricting my oxygen, its hands were as strong as a Boa Consticter... *rrrriiiinnnngggg*... *rrrriiiinnnngggg*... wait... is that the phone?... *thump*... I fell to the cold hard floor. I didn't feel anything, all I could see was black, all I could feel was black. I frantically looked around. There was nothing at all, just more black, it went on forever. It felt like death, destruction.... but most of all despair and loneliness...
