'Dead Man Talking'

You think you can hurt me!
You think you can kill me!
You can't kill someone who
believes he is already dead.
A tortured soul bearing the weight of
the world he created whose whole view is
nothing but a life of regret.
Pain becomes just a word to describe hurt,
but how do you describe a soul that
already has been broken beyond
the limits of hurt &and pain!
Broken, shattered into a million pieces
to the point of mental anguish.
The world even tho isthough it's overpopulated
it becomes a very lonely place to live.
The idea of a 'mistake' gets instilled
in the part of the brain that has the
most importance.
Do you know how it feels to die?
I stopped asking that question
once I experienced it myself.
People say that you can only die once.
Not true! Traumatic events kill a piece
of you every time the universe decides
that you haven't had enough.
The Gods can be very cruel
when they want to be!
As time ticks away, it strips what
little bit of good you have left
like a Nosferatu sucking away
at your life line.
At such point you lose your soul
for it has been polluted from the
cruelty of the world.
Such a cruel, cruel world
we live in!
Hm, want to know a little secret?
Once you have died once,
the second time around becomes familiar.
ThoThough, the funny thing is,..'. When you die,
So does the 'PAIN'.
