My trip to Astana with my classmates
I always wanted to go on some vacation with my classmates to learn more about them, and also to educate myself about the city I visit and its historic events. It was really unpredicted when our teacher told us that we can go on a trip to Astana with the class. We all were excited, and inat the end of the year we were ready to go on vacation. It was a little bit cold that year and we all were dressed warmly. To get to Astana, we used a train. Our teacher also accompanied us during the trip. Once we got to the Astana, we met our guide . She was very nice and polite. The excursion was conducted on a bus. The “Astana-Baiterek” monument looked majestic . The monument was built on the central square in 2002 at the initiative of ex-Presidentex-president N. Nazarbayev . It symbolizes a new stage in the life of the Kazakh people , which was marked by the transfer of the country’s capital from Alma-Ata to Astana. Our class also got the chance to visit “Palace of Peace and Reconciliation”Reconciliation.” It was built near the “Astana-Baiterek” monument . The building looks like a triangle. It’s really a nice place to go for a walk with your friends . I got some souvenirs from there, but they were really pricey so we didn’t boughtbuy many of them. As for me, the most fascinating thing was the “Singing fountain” of Astana . My classmates and I got there only inby the end of the day. But, it was magical to watch them shimmering in the dark. It is a whole alley of dancing water streams , changing shape to the sound of music, and shimmering in bright colors of evening illumination . It was memorable and a beautiful trip. I really liked this side of Astana and I’m looking forward to visitvisiting other parts of my country!
