The 2nd of October is coming, and after yesterday's MT meeting I had food for thought about ways the message for PC team can be spread.
I feel that I am responsible for the employer brand part, and innerinternal communication in a way, so we need to be prepared for coming changes and prepare our colleagues.
I don't think that a brief message via Skype is a good option here.
Here are some main concerns:
- Domantas was a very serious part of PC for 8 years, so the message should be announced in somea more personal and sensitive way;.
- weWe are talking about transparency, so a brief message can cause a lot of interpretations and questions;.
- weWe are representing our company with a personal touch, so the message should be announced in somea more personal way;.
- honestyHonesty is the most important element of company communication, so we need to give a clear message but not to cause any fear about the stability of the company.
Here are some of my ideas, on how the message for the team can be delivered:
General online meeting (the main reason can be company b-day). Domantas can spread the message and open questions/answers discussion isare welcome after that.
We also have also prepared nice backpacks for every colleague as a gift, so what about putting a personal letter from Domantas in to every backpack, and give it to colleagues as a gift?
Domantas video. A: a brief announcement can be filmed and sent forto every colleague, (it will be more personal than a written message).
I know that we are not a cooperative type of company used to poker face annual announcements, but this message is unusual so can/will cause internal changes.
Please share your ideas about this topic and my suggestions I made.
