Hey daddy it's me...I have an appointment (finally) on Monday at Gravelly Lake Dentistry ( 1 of 2 Oral Surgeons that actually accept my insurance in the state of WA) great, wonderful,anyways. Anyways, along with being an "appointment by referral ONLY" establishment, they are also aan "IV sedation required for multiple extraction" establishment. And surprise surprise, guess what my insurance doesn't cover? You guessed it, IV sedation.
I asked as many questions that I could think of at the moment, followed by a call back later to double-check that I heard everything correctly and to see if I could some how get around the whole thing, but to no avail. But basically in order to reserve the appointment to finally get the rest of what remains of my teeth, it requires prior payment for the sedation., which was around $500 if I was clear, and they do accept the care credit. I'm supposed to be getting the dentures put in my mouth that day as well, and if I'm rememberingI remember correctly I pushed off paying for the magnetic posts (that hypothetically speaking, wouldn't even be put in my mouth for a year outnow regardless), so that cut the price in half for the dentures.. soSo, that's where I am right now. I have the appointment scheduled for Monday for the consultation, and the sooner I can reserve the appointment for the surgery the better obviously. So idk what to do from here ..
