Ecotourism is the study of exotic and threatened environments in order to support research developments and can contribute to a country's economy.
Countries that promote the diversity of ecological sites receive more tourists and also develop job opportunities for citizens that reduce poverty in the region. One of the advantages of ecotourism is that it provides an opportunity for tourists and ecologists to learn more about biology, ecosystem and geology, and tourists can disseminate environmental awareness information on a large scale as well as apply it in their daily lives.
Ecotourism also contributes to the management of natural resources and brings a great source of income to the citizens and contributes 95% of the revenue to the local communities, and this leads to the development of a sustainable economy and the use of available resources.
Ecotourism also contributes to providing environmental diversity in many areas, especially those that specialize in environmental tourism, through the diversity of terrain, and marine life, as well as wildlife and climate.
