My main way of learning languages outside the classroom environment is to watch movies and series, all in English and mostly on Netflix. When I go to the cinema, I always go to the version with subtitles and I try to watch movies without reading them. If there are words that I don’t know, I write them down on my phone and later I look for them in the dictionary. I also read books in English and do most of the things in this language,; for example, when I cook and I need to use a recipe, I look for one that is written in English, or when I am looking for an answer to a question, I do it in English too. I also have my phone and my computer set up in English, including applications on both of the devices.
