weWe have two main ways to understand the game. One way is through an intuitive experience, where we look at the game without judgment by being in the moment, and identifying the problems that arise from the game at every moment. This way is characterized by learning from the bottom up (from the game to us) by the fact that we are inside the situation and experience the game firsthand, and different problems arise that the player or coach has to solve on the field. The second approach is by drawing conclusions from past experience into the future. By analysing the game, we can better understand things that we miss in the initial experience, and try and create some kind of more general understanding about the game that will help us the next timestime. This approach is characterized by being top-down (from us to the game). These two ways of thinking are useful and can help us in a better understanding of the game, but as with many things the problem begins when the sensitive balance is broken and we become captives in one persoectiveperspective. .
