My first goal for placement is that I want to become a more confident ECE. This goal is important because having confidence it connects many positive things, such as joy, success, reward, and the desire for me to learn more. Most importantly, it creates a professional spirit for me to embrace. My second goal for placement is that I would like to gain a stronger understanding of learning experiences and educating the young children. The goal is important because I feel that toddlers are challenging to provide meaningful and planned learning experiences for, as they are in the early stages of development. My third and my final goal for placement is that I want to collaborate with families to demonstrate and understand of their children’s wellbeing, learning and development within the service. This goal is important as it is crucial for ECE professionals to view, identify and initiate opportunities and situations to progress a child’s learning, development and health. I want the family members of the children whomwho will be in my direct care to feel safe and secure knowing that I’ll be within the learning environment, and confident to approach me and ask for anything like: advice, guidance, support and knowledge.


My first objective for placement is to help progress speech, motor, and other developmental skills that will assist in the child’s physical, emotional, and mental development. My second objective for placement is that I want to ensure that each child is valued, respected, feels safe and secure, and develops a positive self-concept. My third and final objective for placement is to enable a sound foundation for
the physical and motor development of each child-child – as per each child’s potential.
