I moved to Scotland 5five years ago, after iI lived in London, and aa bit in Paris, and a bit in Goetheborg, too. And before that, in Warsaw, Poland, where I am from.

I have been toin the industry over 15 years, making films of all genres, and yet, when I am watching a movie, the world seems to stop and I am pinned to the screen for the whole duration of the screening.

The films that are in my heart, those iI would love to make the most, are films that are thought provokingthought-provoking, socially important or/and aesthetically nailed. I feel that this is a heritage after my mother, who also was a filmmakerfilm-maker, film editor and documentary film director, Katarzyna Maciejko-Kowalczyk. She was my best teacher, teaching me mostly what to make films for.
I love literature, my favourites are the iconsiconic classics of the world.
