Essay prompt: How I plan to continue my Christian growth in College?college?

How
do I plan to continue my Christian growth in College?college? Well, that is a great question and one I did not give a lot of thought to. However, as I reflect in detail on that question, many scriptures come to mind, along with my child rearing, and words of wisdom from my immediate family, and additional family support over the years. So, as I began this journey in higher education, I know my life is not my own according to Eph 2:10 “For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.”
To begin, I am a young
adult/andadult and a babe in Christ, but I do not take God’s gift lightly. He has purposed me before my time even existed, which makes me more motivated by my dreams to be successful. In the words of twoa historical leadersleader, Nelson Mandela, once said, “Education is the most powerful weapon you can use to help change the world”world. Another profound leader, Dr. 0MartinMartin Luther King once said, “Intelligence plus character, is true education. " I know, my walk may not be easy, but I trust God in everything. In Matthew 19:26;, Jesus looked at them and said to them, “With men, this is impossible, but with God, all things are possible”. possible.” This will not only be an ordinary walk with Christ, but an extraordinary “Faith"Faith Walk" with Christ. Reflecting again on the scripture Eph 2:10, God has purposepurposed me for a good work.
Going away to
Collegecollege is a great opportunity, and stepping outside of my normnormal is where my growth starts, to take place.
