From personal experience, I work in a machine shop
, and we provide services to the oil field. This is a big company and it haswith a lot of potential to grow, but they lack of vision and not wanting to invest in new equipment left us behind, they. They didn’t have a solid strategic plan and because of this they missed the train to grow. Other shops had newer machines and better capabilities to produce larger quantities in a shortshorter amount of time, and because of this we ended up losing customers and having a big hit in revenue, which made it even harder to grow. The company was sold, but now with a new owner and new management they have a different vision and have come up with new ideas to re-organizereorganize the company ininside and out, buying new equipment, getting new clients, and implementing a new system of sales, quality, and production, the. The shop went from having a monthly revenue of 700,000 to 1.8 million.
