Over the semester I have expanded my horizons in a writing aspect. They'reThere were a couple of essays that I struggled with and a lot of ideas that helped me wascame from the course goalgoals. One that really helped me with the first essay whichwas the topic was about success. I struggled with trying to start it off and whichthe course goal that really helped me with it was “producing pre-writing samples”. The strategy helped me with the essay because I made charts about the essay and I broke it down into parts, for. For example, I useused the listing and I wrote all mythe ideas that I could write about the essay. Another one that helped me demonstratingdemonstrate mastery of the writing process was including steps. In the compare and constraint essay, I did a lot of outlining and drafting because I didn’t want it to be all over the place; comparing things and this strategy helped me organize it. The last course goal that helped me was demonstrating andan essay with adequate and appropriate paragraphparagraphs, etc.. I know in all my essaysthat I actually I need to work on this a lot and itin all my essays. It really helphelps me to understand how to write a correct essay because when I had the one on one I found out that I really needneeded to control my generalizations. The course goals helped me so much throughthroughout the semester it breaksin breaking down how to write a great essay, and I am going to remember these in the future for another essay I doany further essays that I write.
