I continued my academic journey after A-levels by Studyingstudying Marine Biology with an integrated industrial year (C164) at Aberystwyth University within the first year of study. I learned the core foundational modules such as Biochemistrybiochemistry and the Cellularcellular basis of life, Ecologyecology, microbial diversity, and wildlife forensics. andI participated in, not only lab work, but also outdoor practicals such as recording speciesspecies' richness and migration patterns. I only completed the first year of the four-year course due to my parents who had gotten sick and were in a serious condition. and asAs the eldest sibling, this meant I had to travel back to London and take care of them. Given these recent events, it has given me time to reflect ,and I believe that studying a course closer to home so that I can be close to my family is more beneficial for me. I also believe that a foundational year is perfect for me as it would allow me to begin first with the right mentalitymental attitude and be aware of the opportunities around such Studentas student libraries, Tutorstutors, etc. To ensure that Admin can assess my application, I have contacted my sixth form and they will shortly send my academic refereereference.
